Our Five Favorite @Ford Mustangs from Each Decade

For the past 50 years, Ford has been a dominant player in the world of American sports cars with their iconic Mustang lineup. The latest release, the 2015 coming next year, keeps the hits coming, something that has been constant other than an embarrassing stint in the late 70s and early 80s when they weren’t quite pure in their muscle mentality.

Everyone is allowed a lapse of reasoning.

Here are our personal favorites from each decade. The 60s were definitely the hardest with three distinct variations that we considered, but the other four decades all had what we consider to be clear-cut winners. Tell us what you think of the list:
